South Metro D2/D1 Bi Weekly Skate (Twin Cities)

A group of skaters in the South Metro Area of the Twin Cities are trying to create
a pool of players to maintain a Bi Weekly skate at a South Metro
location.  We have Hockeyfinder.com organizing the events, so a
free account with them is required to participate to ensure the correct
amount of skaters show up for each skate.

There are several benefits over other pickup style hockey options
including:

• Local South Metro Location!

• $10.00 for 90 minutes with only 10 skaters (2 Full Lines) on each bench.

• Full Line Changes for both benches every three minutes.  Players on bench bang boards when three minutes elapse on the clock

• This increases the tempo of the game

• Everyone gets the same amount of ice time and reduces problems with people taking excessively long shifts

• Allows for further parity as the first lines on both benches can be the faster skaters in the group.

• HockeyFinder.com manages the session!

• No Overly Excessive Parity Enforcement allowing friends and family to skate together.

• You choose team color when you sign up on HockeyFinder.com, so you can skate on the same team as friends and family.

• Ensures the correct amount of people (including goalies) sign up for the event.

Our first skate is at Eagan Civic Arena in Eagan Minnesota on Thursday, March 19th from
9:00PM – 10:30PM.  Future sessions to follow based on success of this
skate!

You will need a Hockeyfinder.com free user account and need to
signup on their website to attend the event.  The cost is $10.00 payable
the night of the event to the captain.  Future sessions may include
purchasing credits on Hockeyfinder.com and allowing them to manage
payments.

Hockey Jersey Design Contest!

You have already seen our wicked hockey jerseys for hockeyfinder.com now is your chance to help design a modern version.

Hockeyfinder will continue to use the traditional style, which are still available with your custom name and custom number for $42, but we also want to create an updated style.

Using the HockeyFinder logo come up with ANY design that will be used for jerseys.  If your design is chosen you will get your own custom jersey as well as a $50 gift certificate at a sports store near you.
