Less than an hour after the Vancouver Canucks missed a chance to clinch the Stanley Cup in a blowout loss, Don Giroux was still confident enough to guarantee the Vancouver Canucks will beat the Boston Bruins in Game 7 on Wednesday night.
“They’re going to win Game 7,” Giroux told the Hockey Is Our Game.

After Richard Bloch’s ruling to void Ilya Kovalchuk’s contract on Monday other such front-ended hockey contracts could be in jeopordy. Canucks general manager Mike Gillis confirmed to the Vancouver Sun that the league is still looking into Roberto Luongo’s 12-year contract that was signed last fall.
I don’t know about you but this could open a can of worms for the NHL.
